Event Production
Event planning is about managing the activities prior to your event, which includes selecting venues, finalizing event dates, managing budgets, hiring a caterer, and more. On the other hand, event management is essentially the project management of an event, which may involve registrations, managing staff during the event, and resolving any onsite conflicts that arise.
Event production elevates an event to the next level. Rather than focusing on planning and project management, event production focuses on the live, stage presentation of an event.
An event producer will work with clients (typically meeting planners or event managers) to identify the concept of the event, and subsequently plan the logistics and technical components, including audiovisuals, vendors, crew, equipment, budgets, and more.
